Software firm welcomes graduate recruits
Business software solutions provider m-hance has appointed seven graduates following the launch of its first dedicated recruitment scheme. The successful new employees: Ben Watt, Danielle Viggars, Dominic Kohler, Jonathan McGee, Jonathon Bathurst, Kamwing Cheng and Kate Clifford, were chosen from more than 1,200 applicants for full-time salaried positions with the rapidly expanding company.
m-hance was formed in November 2011 through acquisition and is supported by 230 staff in offices throughout the UK, Ireland, the United States and India. It is the UK’s fastest growing provider of innovative business software solutions which include enterprise social networking, mobile and cloud-based applications which improve business collaboration, increase productivity and drive efficiency savings.
The new graduate recruits will be based at m-hance’s head-office in Stockport within the areas of product development, marketing, consulting, finance, sales and business planning. They will also play a key part in supporting m-hance’s ambitious growth plans, particularly around its enterprise social business software where demand is anticipated to reach unprecedented levels by the end of 2013.
Mark Thompson, CEO of m-hance, comments, “Recruiting, developing and retaining talented graduates is key to our success and future growth. We are therefore delighted to have appointed such high-calibre individuals who have studied at some of the leading universities in the UK. They did exceptionally well to stand out from a huge number of similarly ambitious applicants and chose to progress their careers with m-hance in spite of receiving interest from other companies.”
Thompson adds, “Our new graduates will be encouraged to contribute and execute fresh ideas to take the business forward, whilst being given early authority and responsibility as part of their ongoing career journey with us.”
m-hance’s graduate scheme has been developed in partnership with specialist recruitment firm, Discovery Graduates. In addition to being given permanent full-time positions, m-hance’s new graduate recruits will also receive in-house support from a dedicated m-hance mentor and regular offsite training through Discovery’s OPEN programme.
