Anesco in the running for two national awards
Reading-based Anesco, which works with businesses and homeowners to help improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions, has been shortlisted for two prestigious national awards.
The coveted Growing Business Awards seek to find the country’s most outstanding entrepreneurs and to highlight the most pioneering UK firms who are bringing new thinking to their markets.
A double-nominee, Anesco has been shortlisted in the category of Young Company of the Year, with CEO Adrian Pike also shortlisted for Entrepreneur of the Year.
Adrian Pike said: “We’re thrilled that Anesco has been shortlisted for an award. It is fantastic recognition for the hard work and dedication of our team, and our unique business offering.
“We provide solutions rather than being a product-led service and this approach, combined with the expert team we have pulled together, is seeing us win and manage some of the UK’s largest, most complex energy efficiency projects.”
Anesco offers a complete turnkey service, providing organisations with a comprehensive energy service, from audits through to recommendations, installations and capital funding plans. The firm expects to reach £100m revenue and an EBIT of more than £10m in just two year’s time.
Projects recently handled by the firm include one of the largest solar farms in the country, a £3m installation and £750k operation and maintenance project for Westcountry Housing, one of the largest social housing energy schemes of its kind and work to insulate thousands of homes for Lancashire and Preston County Councils.
Judging for the Growing Business Awards is to take place in London in the coming weeks, with winners announced at an awards ceremony being held in November. Past winners include Chemist Direct, Concert Live, Mike Lynch founder of Autonomy and Errol Damelin from Wonga.
