Southdale continues its growth in the North West with more contract wins
Southdale, the North West construction and development specialist, has continued its growth in the region after winning three substantial contracts totalling £5m.
The company, which has its North West headquarters in Warrington and has a regional turnover of £32m, is set to inject millions of pounds into the local supply chain after securing work in Crewe and Bury.
The new contracts comprise:
A 16 house project on behalf of Wulvern Housing in Queens Park Drive, Crewe. A nine house development, also for Wulvern Housing, in Brooklands, Crewe. A contract to build 19 care and support units for St Vincents Housing Association in Danesmoor Drive, Bury.
As a result of Southdale’s continued growth, this has led to a number of appointments and promotions, including hiring Keith Huntingdon as Construction Director and Neil Hughes’ promotion to Technical Director. The pair have also been brought onto the North West’s regional board.
Stuart Allison, North West Region Managing Director at Southdale, said: “We are committed to helping the economies in the communities in which we are based, and we will ensure that the majority of our work from these contracts goes directly into the North West supply chain.
“The future is looking bright for the company, particularly in the North West, and these latest contract wins and key appointments represent the continued growth we have enjoyed this year, as we look to build on this success.”
