Morley Hayes’ Woodland Wedding Service is a Breath Of Fresh Air
A wedding service launched last year by popular Derbyshire hotel and wedding venue Morley Hayes has proved a massive success, helping couples from across the UK turn their dreams of a romantic woodland wedding into a reality.
The Morley Hayes woodland wedding service was launched in 2017 in response to demand from couples looking to take their vows whilst being surrounded by nature.
Since then, couples from across the UK have enjoyed enchanting weddings within the spectacular Morley Hayes woodlands, with 28 woodland weddings taking place last year alone.
Outdoor weddings have been carried out at Morley Hayes since 2012, when a special wedding dome was constructed set in a picturesque secret garden in the venue’s grounds.
The woodland wedding area is full of charm and character and enables couples to take their vows amongst forest ferns and wildflowers, shrouded beneath spectacular towering pines, horse chestnut and beech trees, with breath-taking views beyond.
Woodland wedding ceremonies take place in a private lodge, an open structure situated in a secluded part of the Morley Hayes woodlands. Guests can enjoy the intimate ceremony seated on oak benches, beside the old-fashioned lych-gate overlooking the woods.
Speaking of the success of the Woodland Wedding service, Andrew Allsop, managing director of Morley Hayes, said:
“We’re always looking for ways to improve our service offering in line with the changing demands of our customers and are really pleased with the feedback we’ve received from couples who have already exchanged their vows in our wedding lodge or have already booked their woodland wedding for 2020 and 2021.
“Here at Morley Hayes we’re blessed with an idyllic location, so we’re keen to take advantage of this fabulous setting to give couples the chance to have a romantic and truly enchanting wedding.”
