Male grooming brand opens bricks-and-mortar barber shop in Camden

A male grooming product, manufacturer and retailer has launched its first barber shop at Camden Market to kickstart its expansion plans.

Sweyn Forkbeard’s debut bricks and mortar boutique will offer traditional barber services and stock its 125-strong collection of 100 per cent organic, handmade grooming products.

Spread across two units totalling 40 sq ft, the shop – which has been designed by an in-house team – is inspired by the 1900s, including customers barber chairs and displays of antiques over 120 years old. Sweyn Forkbeard will donate a percentage of its profits to local charity, Camden Giving.

George Garcia, founder of Sweyn Forkbeard, said: “We are thrilled to be opening our first ever stand-alone barber shop in the iconic Camden Market.

“Following continued success with our three product shops in London, two of which are already in Camden, it makes sense for us to extend our presence here with an expanded bricks and mortar offering for Londoners.

“After selling barber products within our stores and at barber shows over the last five years, it is a natural step open a fully-fledged barber shop, enabling us to apply our products directly to Camden Market’s consumers.”
