Key appointment fuels further growth for Pegasus Group

National planning and design consultancy Pegasus Group has appointed urban designer Tim Brandt to the post of Design Director at its recently opened Solent office in Eastleigh, Hants.

Tim joins Pegasus Group from the Southampton office of WYG Group, where he spent more than three years. Although a full member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, Tim has a background in urban design, having previously also worked for the urban design team of Savills and for Thrive Architects.

Tim joins a planning team which has been newly created to strengthen the company’s capabilities in the central south in 2020 and is led by Senior Director Jeremy Gardiner. He will play a key role in new business acquisition, at the same time delivering high quality design support to clients, especially in the house-building sector where he has a strong reputation.

Welcoming Tim to the business, Jeremy Gardiner said: “We are growing the Pegasus Group business in this region and I see Tim’s appointment as key to accelerating this growth by expanding our service offering, helping move us to the next level.

“He brings a wealth of urban design experience allied to excellent all-round capability in this challenging sector. After the unique year we have all experienced as an industry, we are looking forward to making significant strides as the UK economy emerges from the pandemic. With Tim added to the team we are confident that, both regionally and nationally, Pegasus Group is in prime position to make the most of the new opportunities presented.”

Formed in 2003, Pegasus Group has expanded to become a leading development consultancy. It specialises in planning, design, environment, economics and heritage services. Operating from 16 offices across the UK and Ireland, with more than 330 staff, Pegasus Group provides expertise to clients on a raft of high-profile development proposals.
