NHS eye screening specialist sets sights on expansion with move to former silk mill

An NHS medical screening provider has taken two new premises at a former silk mill in West Yorkshire.

NPS Care has signed a 24-month lease on suites three and five at Parkview House in Brighouse, which is owned and managed by commercial lettings specialist and landlord Towngate PLC.

NPS Care provides diabetic eye screening on behalf of the NHS, covering the areas of Calderdale, Greater Huddersfield, Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven.

The company has chosen the former silk mill, which has been transformed into a business space, for its new base of operations.

John Fox, programme manager at NPS Care added: “I was incredibly happy with our move and new offices.

“It has been challenging to settle into a new property during the pandemic but the Towngate team has been very welcoming and helpful before, during, and after the relocation.”

Forming part of the Woodvale Office Park, the property – which was originally built in the 1800s – underwent a refurbishment in 2018.

Towngate property manager, Tom Lamb, added: “We are thrilled to welcome NPS Care to the characterful and historic Parkview House.

“We’re sure the group will settle in and thrive in this vibrant multi-occupied office space — benefitting from the picturesque surroundings and nearby amenities.”
