Electrical wholesaler plugs in to new region with first Leeds location

A Leeds trade park has announced that an electrical wholesaler will move in as it signs a ten year lease.

Denmans, which has more than 70 branches throughout the UK, is opening its first Leeds location at Ribston Trade Park.

So far, Denmans has created four jobs at the site, and is planning to create more in the future.

Gent Visick, which negotiated the latest lease, says there is now just one remaining unit available at the park.

Paul Atherton, managing director at Denmans, commented: “As a Leeds born and bred northerner it’s a great pleasure to be able to bring Denmans to my hometown.

“Leeds and the surrounding areas have many thousands of potential customers who can enjoy our professional range of 12,500 electricians’ products, ready for delivery or collection in under a minute.

“We pride ourselves on service, availability, innovation and value, and we look forward to welcoming new customers to Denmans.

“Our arrival at Ribston Trade Park further complements our other established Yorkshire branches in Huddersfield and York.”

Jonathan Jacob, from Gent Visick, said: “Ribston Trade Park continues to be the go-to estate for trade counter occupiers looking to gain a foothold in North Leeds.

“This deal marks the third unit let to a national trade counter occupier in as many months, and we anticipate significant interest in the last remaining unit.”
