New faces, branding and website for IT firm with ambitious growth plans

A fast-growing IT support business has revealed ambitious job creation plans on the back of a complete rebrand of the firm.

IDT Limited, which is based on Mercian Park in Ilkeston and provides complete and bespoke IT support for companies, will grow dramatically over the next two years on the back of the rebrand, which has seen a new website and commercial identity developed by Nottingham brand experts Tribe Rizk McCay.

The company has also hired two new staff, with IT Support Engineers Jason Tems and Josh Hutchinson joining the team.

Luke Draper, Managing Director of IDT explained the reasoning behind the new branding. He said: “We have changed dramatically over the last few years and the existing brand and website didn’t demonstrate who we were at all. We are great at what we do but up to now haven’t been great in shouting about it and for a business who has been around for 24 years many do not know we exist. We wanted to change that.

“We wanted it to clearly show our company’s key values and engage with new customers who want more than just the standard ticket-based IT company. We are human and offer a service like no other business in our sector, as you will see from a handful of our case studies on the businesses and organisations we support, we make a difference. Many businesses put up with poor service but are too scared to move their IT as it is perceived is too complex and too much risk. We squash those myths.”

Luke says that IDT now has the foundations in place to expand over the next two years. He added: “Over the next 12-24 months we see our growth increasingly dramatically as we now have the foundations in order to support it.

“We are already engaging with new businesses and that will only lead to more hiring of staff.”

The process of growing IDT began last year, when Luke and his team moved into new, state-of-the-art offices on Mercian Park in Ilkeston.

Luke said: “We managed to move into our new offices during lockdown, but, as yet, we’ve not been able to fully welcome new customers and existing ones to showcase it. We can’t wait for that to happen!”
